Hotel Key Card Technology Options
Mifare Classic 1K (13.56 MHz) — Most Commonly Used
The standard for most hotel door lock systems worldwide. Compatible with Onity, Dormakaba (ex-Kaba), Saflok, VingCard, ASSA ABLOY, Netlock, Tesla and most modern hotel locks installed in India. The card's sector data is programmed by your front desk encoder (PMS/lock interface) at check-in — we supply blank chips that your existing encoder programs.
125 KHz EM/HID Proximity Cards
Older door lock systems using proximity card readers. Compatible with HID proximity, EM4100 and similar legacy systems widespread in mid-range Indian hotels that haven't yet upgraded to Mifare.
Magnetic Stripe Cards (Hi-Co)
Hotels still using magnetic stripe door locks (common in legacy properties). Hi-Co (2750 Oe) stripe cards are compatible with Onity HT Series and older magnetic stripe-based hotel lock systems.
